Newspapers are converting online to keep up with their readers. More people are technologically savvy and need the news as it happens so we're beginning to rely on it more and more.

Advantages

• we can get news faster and more efficiently
• we can become more environmentally friendly by not printing thousands papers everyday
• online newspapers are visually stimulating
• production is 1/3 of the cost of newspapers

Disadvantages

• online newspapers aren't very profitable
• smaller companies will not be successful online
• subscribers may begin to unsubscribe
• newspaper companies have to choose their target audience
